The Golden Baton carries the message of Fair Play
The Golden Baton challenges its receiver to promote clean sport and to commit to its values. The holders of the baton constitute a proud and active chain of winners. The message of fair play is carried forward, and the baton carriers declare themselves publicly to be messengers for clean sport. The aim of this awareness-raising campaign is to get all the significant players in Finnish sports working toward achieving clean sport.
